Pillowtalk" (stylised as PILLOWTALK) is a song recorded by English singer and songwriter Zayn, for his debut solo studio album Mind of Mine. It was written by Zayn Malik, Anthony Hannides, Michael Hannides, Levi Lennox, and Joe Garrett, while the production was handled by Lennox and the Hannides brothers under their stage name MakeYouKnowLove.^[1][2] The song was released as the lead single from the album on 29 January 2016, along with its accompanying music video.

"Pillowtalk" was well received by contemporary critics, with most of them appreciating the singer's new musical direction and vocal performance. The song's music video features kaleidoscopic effects, sexual imagery, and American model Gigi Hadid. "Pillowtalk" was serviced to UScontemporary hit radio on 2 February 2016. It has been a commercial success, having topped the charts in more than a dozen countries, including the UK Singles Chart and the US Billboard Hot 100. On the latter, it became the 25th song to debut at number one, and made him the first UK artist to debut at number one with a first charted single.
