Mess" is a single released by American artist Bebe Rexha for her first
studio album, Expectations (2018). The track was relcorded as the debut and
only song from the album on June 15, 2018, following an early radio release in
the United States. The track was produced by Jussifer and Devon Corey.
According to the singer, the song is about accepting your own imperfections,
and not dwelling on them but rather celebrating them. The song became
Rexha's first solo top 40 hit.
