Shapiro and Resnick are initially from New York and New Jersey, individually, yet started to perform without precedent for Boston in 2007. The title track from the EP moved to #84 on the iTunes Pop outlines and "Swoon" appeared and topped on the Billboard Rap Digital Songs at #45.Billboard named them one of their 13 craftsmen to look for in 2013.
On February 22, 2013, they reported that they had made their own mark, Forty8Fifty. The name is banded together with Island Def Jam Music Group. Their next full-length collection will be out later in 2013 and will be discharged on the name.
Their introduction single, "I Choose U", was discharged on April 1, 2013 to computerized retailers[11] and was discharged to American radio under Island Def Jam Music Group.[12] The single was remixed byFedde Le Grand and on June 3 discharged on his authority Soundcloud page. The melody got the same number of listens in three days as Le Grand's latest single Rockin' N' Rollin' procured in one month.
On August 2, 2013, they performed at Lollapalooza music celebration in Chicago.
Their second EP, "Cautioning Signs", including the hit single, "I Choose U", was discharged on October 13, 2013.
Timeflies discharged their introduction collection, "Twilight", on April 29, 2014 under their own name Forty8Fifty and Island Def Jam Music Group. The collection incorporates highlights from Fabolous, T-Pain, and Katie Sky, and in addition coordinated efforts with Mike Posner and Martin Johnson, the lead vocalist of Boys Like Girls.
