"Africa" is a 1982 tune by the American rock band Toto. It was incorporated on their 1982 collection Toto IV, and discharged as a solitary in late 1982. It achieved number one on the US Billboard Hot

100 outline in February 1983 and number three on the UK Singles Chart that month. The tune was composed by the band's keyboardist/vocalist David Paich and drummer Jeff Porcaro. The melody is generally thought to be the band's mark tune.

The lyricist Dave Paich clarified the tune is around a man's adoration for a mainland: Africa. In the tune "Africa" the rehashed words, "rains down in Africa" shape a prominent key expression, finishing the melody abstain, I bless the rains..." in the main lines composed for the tune, additionally noted by Paich.
