OneRepublic - I Lived (Video clip)

"I Lived" is a tune recorded by American pop shake band OneRepublic. It was discharged as the 6th single from the collection, Native (2014). It was initially wanted to be discharged as the fifth single in

January 2014, yet was racked for "Love Runs Out".

OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder noticed that he composed the tune for his four-year-old child. In a meeting with People magazine, he said, "The entire thought, to cite the late incredible Robin Williams from Dead Poets Society, is particularly 'carpe diem'." He said that "it's completely widespread and pertinent to everyone." Regarding the verse "With each broken bone, I swear I lived," Tedder said, "So for consistently that you're on this planet, for consistently that you have, the entire thought is doing nothing not exactly precisely what you feel should do and crushing every single drop out of life consistently, paying little heed to the challenges or trials that you confront." As with different melodies on the Native collection, Tedder drew songwriting motivation from U2, where he concentrated on composing tunes from the heart and from individual experience
