"Shut Up and Dance" (adapted as "SHUT UP + DANCE") is a tune recorded by American pop shake band Walk the Moon for their second studio collection Talking Is Hard (2014). It was


composed by the band individuals and musicians Ben Berger and Ryan McMahon. The melody depends on an ordeal frontman Nicholas Petricca had at a Los Angeles dance club. His better half welcomed him to move, rousing the title, which he imagined as a song of devotion for relinquishing dissatisfaction and to having some good times. The tune was digitally discharged as the lead single from Talking Is Hard on September 10, 2014.


The melody turned into the band's greatest hit single to date, cresting at number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and turning into a main hit on the magazine's Alternative Songs graph and the Hot Adult Contemporary chart.[3] Outside the United States, the tune beat the outlines in Poland, topped inside the main ten of the diagrams in Australia, Canada, Germany, Israel, the Republic of Ireland, and the United Kingdom, the main twenty of the diagrams in New Zealand and Sweden and the main thirty of the outlines in the Netherlands.
