and Republic. It was composed by Minaj, Ester Dean, Dr. Luke, Donnie Lewis, Theron Thomas and Cirkut; and delivered by Dr. Luke and Cirkut. It is an electropop tune about celebrating and having some good times.

Numerous pundits saw the tune as single material and praised the creation, yet reprimanded the piece and expressive substance. The melody appeared at 93 on the Billboard Hot 100, and topped at 31.

"The Night is Still Young" is composed by Minaj, Ester Dean, Lukasz Gottwald, Donnie Lewis, Theron Thomas and Henry Walter, with extra generation by Gottwald and Cirkut.[2] Lyrically, the melody is about celebrating and having some good times; the verses rotate around a standard night out at a club.

"The Night is Still Young" is a disco-impacted pop melody that endures three minutes and forty-eight seconds.[3] Writing for Consequence of Sound, Michael Madden felt the creation was "unadulterated pop."[4] Garvey contrasted the structure with Minaj's tracks on her second studio collection, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.[5] Tyler Kane from Paste Magazine remarked "[The Night is Still Young"] seemed like a tune hand-penned for Ke$ha, so it wasn't an amazement to find the individual behind the track was her antagonized partner Dr. Luke, ruling lord of topics like "today is the latest night we will exist in human structure, so how about we party it away at the club."[6] Nick Levine from Time Out marked it "computerized disco" music.[7] Niki McGloster from Billboard said it was the "lovechild" of Minaj's 2010 single "Minute 4 Life" and her 2012 single "Starships". Shee remarked "Minaj packs this club record with verses about grabbing the night and getting a charge out of the ride."[8] "The Night Is Still Young" is composed in the key of C# minor with a rhythm of 124 beats for every moment, and Minaj's vocals range from C♯4 to C♯5.
