"Work from Home" is a music written by American pop
group Fifth Harmony featuring rapper Ty Dolla Sign. It was recorded on February
26, 2016 as the lead single from the group's 2-nd album, 7/27
(2016).
"Work from Home" was composed by Joshua Coleman, Jude Demorest, Da,
Tyrone Griffin, Jr., Alexander Izquierdo and Brian Lee.
The sngle debuted at 12-th on the Billboard Hot 100 with
88,000 downloads sold, and reached number 4 in its thirteenth week, becoming
their best charting single in the United States, surpassing "Worth
It", which peaked at number 12. "Work from Home" also became the
first top-5 single in the United States by a girl band in 10 years, following
the April 2006 peak of "Buttons" by the The Pussycat Dolls at number 3.
The single also saw success on radio airplay charts, topping
both the Mainstream Top 40 and Rhythmic Songs in the United States.
Internationally, "Work from Home" topped the charts in New Zealand
and the Netherlands, while peaking within the top10 of the charts in 22 difrent
countries. Song became their best-charting music in Australia, Denmark, Canada,
Germany and the United Kingdom. Since its release, the single has received
several certifications, including duo platinum in the United States, Australia,
New Zealand and Sweden.
