Popular Greek Nikolaos singe "Nikos" Vertis was born (Nikolaos Vertis Arvantidis; Greek: Νίκος Βερτης Αρβανιτίδης;) in August 21, 1976 in Gorinchem,

In 1982, Vertis with family lived to Thessaloniki, Greece. At seven, singe started playing the Bouzouki. When he was 15 years old, he started getting involved with singing. In 1992, singe lived back to the Netherlands for two years, where artist attended a technical high school. He was back to Greece for military duties. Once completed begined getting involved with his love of singing. He begined as singe in little clubs in Thessaloniki and other region of Macedonia. In the summer of 2002, artist begined singing at the most popular club "Rodon" where he made a big impact, and continued singing until summer 2003
