and composer Sia Furler, taken from her 7-th music collection This Is Acting
(2016). It was recorded by Sia and Greg Kurstin, and produced by Kurstin. The
remix of the
track with vocals from Sean Paul was recorded on 11 February 2016 as the 2-nd song from This Is Acting. "Cheap Thrills" is a pop music with elements of electropop. The remix of the music featuring Sean Paul contains influences of Jamaican reggae. The single was meant for Rihanna's Anti, but after she turned it down Sia decided to keep it and use it for her 7-th studio album.
In the United Kingdom, "Cheap Thrills" reached 2-nd
on the UK Singles Chart. In the United States, the music reached the top 5 on
the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 5. It has become her highest-peaking song
as a lead singer in the US.
