James Andrew Arthur (born 2 March 1988) is a British singer-songwriter who won the ninth arrangement of The X Factor in 2012. His presentation single, "Impossible", was released through
Syco Music after the last and appeared at number one on the UK Singles Chart in its first week of discharge. It has following gone ahead to offer more than 1,289,000 duplicates in the UK, and 2.5 million duplicates around the world. He discharged his self-titled introduction collection in November 2013 and it appeared and crested at number two on the UK Albums Chart.
Weeks after the arrival of his presentation collection, Arthur used a homophobic slur to depict another artist. This prompted iTunes offering discounts for the collection. After this, Arthur went separate ways with Syco. In 2015, he marked another arrangement with Columbia Records and will release his second collection in 2016.
